Dave Dunbar has been in the horticultural industry since 1984, beginning his training as an apprentice for the royal parks of london. There his experience and training in basic horticultural techniques were "grounded" with the accomplishment of a 3 year city and guilds qualification, and a Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Certificate.

By Royal Appointment

An extensive amount of experience was gained on high profile maintenance sites including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and Her Majesty's very own Buckingham Palace. This set a presidence in working to high standards of maintenance involving fine lawns, summer and winter bedding displays, planting and border renovations and aftercare, and the tiresome art of hand weeding!

Landscape Training

Dave began his hard landscaping as an assistant whilst working for Highgate Landscapes, a company in North London. It wasn't long before he had learnt the skills of building patios, walls, water features, etc, and was promoted to site foreman overseeing his own team of assistants, thanks to the support and hands on training from his foreman. Many of the projects consisted of total garden makeovers, taken from plans designed and drawn by the company designer.
